About the Team The Mission Unit delivers sustainable, evidence-based supportive care services that promote optimal care and are accessible to all South Australians. It develops cancer prevention and education programs that reach deep into the community, and partners with First Nations communities to improve cancer outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. The unit also undertakes and funds high-quality research spanning the continuum from biomedical and translational to population health.
About the Role
Located at 202 Greenhill Road our facility incorporates 120 rooms of guest accommodation.
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic person with exceptional customer service skills, experienced in front office reception to join our team at Cancer Council SA. This position is fast paced where multitasking is essential. You will work with a team who is responsible for all front desk operations including accommodation operations, phone queries, assisting guest and general queries, processing travel subsidy forms, payment transactions and other general office duties as required.
The role requires a passion for customer service, with a compassionate and empathetic manner, excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills.
About You
- Reception and/or accommodation experience
- Flexibility to work various rostered shifts
- Experience in working with a reservation system. Working knowledge of RMSCloud or similar is desirable
- Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team and at times under pressure
- Must be highly organised, practice good time management, attention to detail and be able to multitask
- Competence in MS Outlook, Word and Excel
The role is being offered as a permanent part-time position, approximately 56 hours per fortnight. Flexibility in work-days can be considered, however preferred availability is listed below:
Week 1 Week 2
Mon - 2.30pm to 10pm Mon - 7am to 2.30pm
Thurs - 2.30pm to 10pm Wed - 2.30pm to 10pm
Fri - 2.30pm to 10pm Thurs - 2.30pm to 10pm
Sun - 7am to 2.30pm Sun - 2.30pm to 10pm
