Company Description Monardo Legal is a full-service law firm Located at 534 Parramatta Road, Ashfield NSW 2131.

Role Description The Accountant will provide end-to-end financial and accounting support for the firm’s operations, ensuring accurate records and compliance with relevant regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing accounts payable and receivable, maintaining the general ledger, preparing financial statements and management reports, and reconciling bank and trust accounts.

The role will also involve budgeting support, cashflow monitoring, assisting with tax and compliance filings, and coordinating with external advisors as needed. This is a full-time, on-site role.

Qualifications

- Robust skills in general accounting, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and preparation of financial statements.




- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and reconciliations (including bank and trust accounts).
- Knowledge of budgeting, cashflow management, and basic tax and compliance requirements relevant to professional services or law firms.
- Proficiency in Zero accounting software
- High level of attention to detail, accuracy, and organization, with strong time-management skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with legal and administrative teams.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA or CA progress or membership is an advantage.
