My client is a highly regarded Top 100 accounting firm based in the Brisbane CBD. With more than 60 staff, the firm has established a strong reputation in the Brisbane market and continues to experience consistent growth across both its team and client base.

The firm provides a broad range of accounting, taxation and business advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients. Due to continued growth, they are now looking for an Intermediate Accountant to join their team.

About You:

Ideally, you will have two to three years of experience in Public Practice Accounting, with a solid Business Services and Taxation skill set. You will also possess the following:

- Excellent communication skills
- Experience dealing directly with clients
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- A genuine interest in developing your accounting and advisory skills
- A passion for building and maintaining strong client relationships

About the Role:

This is a full Business Services and Taxation role, providing exposure to a diverse range of clients and matters. Your responsibilities will include:





- Preparation of financial statements
- Preparation of tax planning advice in conjunction with Senior Accountants
- Researching and preparing accurate advice for review by senior staff on a variety of compliance issues
- Attending to compliance matters including FBT, BAS/IAS, Superannuation, PAYG and ATO reviews
- Preparation of technical advice for review by senior staff
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients
- Any experience working with medical clients would be highly regarded
