About the role

CK Recruitment Pty Ltd is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our team on a casual basis. Based in Padstow NSW 2211, this role provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to our finance and administration operations whilst maintaining flexibility in your work schedule. As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping and contributing to the smooth operation of our finance department.

What you'll be doing

- Data entry of financial transactions, invoices, receipts and other accounting documents into relevant systems

- Reconciliation of accounts and verification of financial data for accuracy

- Processing accounts payable and receivable transactions

- Maintaining and organising financial records and filing systems

- Assisting with the preparation of financial reports and statements

- Responding to invoice queries and liaising with internal and external stakeholders

- Supporting general administrative duties as required to assist the finance team

- Performing data verification and quality control checks on financial information

What we're looking for

- Proficiency in data entry with a robust attention to detail and accuracy

- Competency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word

- Experience with accounting software or financial management systems, or willingness to learn





- Ability to organise and manage multiple tasks efficiently

- Strong numeracy skills and comfort working with financial figures

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- A reliable, professional attitude with a commitment to meeting deadlines

- Relevant qualifications in bookkeeping, accounting or administration would be advantageous

- Previous experience in accounts administration or a similar finance support role would be beneficial
