Permanent Part-time Accounts Position

Hazelbrook Bowling and Sports Club is seeking an experienced, reliable and organised accounts and payroll person to join our team. This is an significant position in our club that supports the day-to- day functions of our business with administration, financial operations and accounts. The position would be approximately 20 hours per week. Hours and days are negotiable.

About Us

We are a small non-profit co-operative business that plays a vital part in our community supporting local sports and social clubs. We have a small team dedicated to the function of the club including staff and a Board of Directors. We host both Men’s and Women's Lawn bowls, Croquet, Darts and Line Dancing, to name a few of the groups.

The Role

- Accounts Receivable and Payable
- Weekly Payroll Processing
- Daily banking and reconciliation including money handling and processing gaming machine and Keno reports
- General office and administrative organisation




- Maintaining and creating accurate records and documentation including quarterly and monthly reports and ATO lodgements.
- Liaising and communicating with both the Board of Directors and management Providing general administrative support to the team
- Processing and maintaining our current membership system
- Updating and maintaining our website and fortnightly newsletter

We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in a wide range of accounts duties and payroll Highly organised and detail oriented.
- Proficient in computer skills, word, excel and xero accounting.
- Reliable, trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information An effective communicator.
- Proactive attitude and a friendly, professional manner
