About the role

Door Solutions Australia is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team on a full-time basis. Based in Edinburgh, SA 5111, this is a key position within our accounting operations, responsible for managing the flow of customer payments and maintaining the accuracy of our receivables records. As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will play a vital role in ensuring efficient cash flow management and supporting the financial health of our organisation.

What you'll be doing

- Processing and recording customer invoices and payments in the accounting system

- Reconciling customer accounts and investigating discrepancies or payment issues

- Following up on overdue accounts through phone calls, emails and written correspondence

- Preparing and sending payment reminders and statements to customers

- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer account records

- Assisting with monthly reconciliation of accounts receivable ledgers

- Processing credit notes and adjustments as required

- Liaising with customers to resolve billing queries and payment disputes

- Contributing to the development and improvement of credit control procedures

What we're looking for

- Proven experience working in an accounts receivable or credit control environment

- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel for data entry and reporting

- Solid numerical and analytical skills with accuracy and attention to detail

- Excellent organisational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently

- Professional communication skills,



both written and verbal, for customer interactions

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative finance team

- A proactive approach to problem-solving and commitment to meeting deadlines
