Robert Half is currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Receivable / Billing Officer to start immediately on an initial 3-month temporary contract.

Working as part of a team, you will provide meaningful support to the finance function, playing a key role in ensuring billing accuracy and financial integrity across the business.
The flexibility to work from home 2 days per week following training is also provided.
The Role
Working within a friendly team environment your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring the accuracy for Medicare billing
- Enter and review MBS item numbers for billing
- Processing and receipting of payments
- Monitor debtor accounts, issue statements, followed up outstanding payments
- Reconciliations
- Answering queries from patients for general account inquiries
- Contribute to the achievement of individual and team targets as set out by management
- Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers in relation to all aspects of the accounts department
Your Skills & Experience
- Previous accounts receivable / billing experience gained in the healthcare sector
- Previous experience with MBS item number billing
- Systems savvy with and intermediate level of MS Excel.
- Solid communication skills to maintain positive working relationships with a variety of stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
