Doveston Health is seeking an enthusiastic and personable Accredited Practising Dietitian to join our multidisciplinary allied health team in Morayfield.

This is a permanent part-time position, initially offering approximately 2–3 days per week, with an existing caseload ready to transition and the prospect for the role to grow toward full time as demand increases.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Dietitian looking to step into an established clinic where patients, referral pathways, systems and administrative support are already in place.

About the Role

You will be taking over an existing Dietetics caseload, allowing you to commence seeing patients without the pressure of having to build a client base from scratch.

The role will initially be structured across approximately 2–3 days per week, with some flexibility around working days. For the right person, there is genuine opportunity to increase hours over time and potentially progress toward a full-time position as the Dietetics service continues to grow.

You will work with a wide-ranging caseload that may include:

- Weight management and sustainable lifestyle change
- Diabetes and metabolic health
- Cardiovascular health
- Gastrointestinal conditions
- Chronic disease management
- Healthy ageing
- General nutrition
- NDIS participants
- Home Care Package clients
- Medicare Chronic Disease Management referrals

You will also have the opportunity to work collaboratively with Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, Podiatrists and our Diabetes Educator where multidisciplinary care is appropriate.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will include

- Conducting comprehensive Dietetics assessments and consultations
- Developing individualised, evidence-based nutrition plans
- Providing practical and achievable nutrition education
- Supporting patients with behaviour change and long-term health goals




- Reviewing and progressing patient care plans
- Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Communicating with GPs, support coordinators, case managers and other health professionals where required
- Preparing reports and correspondence for relevant funding bodies
- Managing ongoing patient rebooking and continuity of care
- Contributing to the growth and development of Dietetics services within the clinic
- Working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary allied health team

About You We are looking for a Dietitian who is clinically capable, approachable and genuinely enjoys building strong relationships with patients.

You will ideally

- Communicate nutrition information in a practical and easy-to-understand way
- Be confident working independently while enjoying being part of a team
- Provide individualised and patient-centred care
- Be organised and reliable with documentation and follow-up
- Be proactive in supporting patient retention and continuity of care
- Have strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Be interested in developing a sustainable caseload and becoming a long-term part of the clinic

Both experienced Dietitians and strong early-career applicants are encouraged to apply.

Essential Requirements

Applicants will require

- Recognised tertiary qualification in Dietetics
- Current or eligibility for Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) status with Dietitians Australia
- Appropriate professional indemnity and public liability insurance
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Relevant worker screening and checks required for the client groups you work with




- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Experience working with NDIS, Home Care Packages, Medicare or chronic disease populations would be advantageous, but is not essential. Why Join Doveston Health?
