Tailored Fire Doors is seeking an experienced and organised Administration Officer to join our team on a temporary basis for approximately six months, with the possibility of ongoing employment for the right candidate depending on business requirements.

We are a growing fire protection business servicing clients throughout South East Queensland. This is an important role within our small team, supporting our field technicians, clients and management with the day-to-day coordination and administration of the business.

About the Role

This is a varied administration and coordination position where you will be involved in the daily operations of the business.

Key responsibilities will include

- Scheduling and coordinating technicians and site works

- Managing incoming emails and client enquiries

- Liaising with clients regarding bookings, access and upcoming works

- Preparing quotes and other documentation

- Updating jobs and maintaining accurate records within our systems

- General data entry and administrative duties

- Assisting with invoicing and accounts administration

- Following up outstanding information with clients and suppliers





- Assisting with the coordination of jobs from initial enquiry through to completion

- Providing general administrative support to management and the wider team

About You

We are looking for someone who is organised, reliable and confident taking ownership of their responsibilities.

Ideally, you will have:

- Previous experience in administration, scheduling, service coordination or a similar role

- Strong organisational and time-management skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Confidence dealing with clients, technicians, contractors and suppliers
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work with minimal supervision

- Robust attention to detail and accurate data entry skills

- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
- The ability to learn new systems and processes quickly

Experience within a trade, construction, fire protection, facilities management or service-based business would be highly regarded but is not essential.
