1ST YEAR JUNIOR PLUMBING APPRENTICE

Finishing Year 12 this year and ready to start your trade career? We’re looking for a motivated 1st Year Junior Plumbing Apprentice to join our established plumbing team.

We are particularly interested in hearing from current Year 12 students who are about to complete their studies and are keen to move straight into an apprenticeship.

For the right applicant, there may be an opportunity to start with us part-time on a paid trial basis before finishing Year 12, giving you the chance to experience the work, meet the team and see whether plumbing is the right career for you. The position would then transition to a full-time apprenticeship once your studies are complete.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We specialise in the installation of plumbing and drainage systems in new residential homes. As an apprentice, you'll be working alongside experienced tradespeople and learning the trade from the ground up. Because we work across different stages of new-home construction, you'll get to see how a house comes together — from the initial underground drainage and plumbing through to the final fit-off.

This is a hands-on role and a great opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work, being outdoors and seeing the results of what they've achieved each day.

No previous plumbing experience is expected — we're looking for the right attitude, reliability and willingness to learn.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

To be considered, you will need to:

- Be eligible to commence as a 1st Year Junior Apprentice
- Have your own reliable vehicle and hold a valid provisional driver's licence
- Be self-motivated and honest, with a positive attitude and genuine willingness to learn
- Be physically capable of handling the demands of a hands-on construction role
- Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident

For a suitable Year 12 applicant, we are also open to discussing part-time work before you finish school, followed by full-time employment once you have completed your studies.
