As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Sales Estimator to join our team at our Maroochydore head office.

This role plays an important part in the new home journey, providing accurate and timely pricing from the initial sales proposal through to construction contract. Working closely with our Sales and Estimating teams, you will help ensure our clients receive clear and accurate pricing as their recent home takes shape.

The role

Your responsibilities will include:

- Preparing preliminary estimates for new home proposals and updating pricing as designs, inclusions and client selections change.
- Calculating final sale prices, taking into account site conditions, engineering requirements, non-standard items and relevant authority requirements.
- Preparing accurate contract building specifications that capture agreed changes throughout the sales process.
- Sourcing quotes for non-standard products and providing timely pricing for design modifications and upgrades.
- Maintaining pricing for standard designs, display upgrades and sales pricing tools.
- Preparing margin analysis and other reports to support job and business forecasting.

What you will bring

You will have at least two years’ experience in a similar residential building sales estimating role,



together with a sound understanding of construction methods, materials and labour costs.

You will also bring:

- Confidence reading and interpreting building plans, specifications and sales mark-ups.
- The ability to interpret the NCC, Queensland building requirements, local planning requirements and estate covenants.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience using estimating or take-off software, with Databuild experience highly regarded.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Clear communication skills, initiative and a practical approach to problem-solving.
- A positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm for contributing to a great team culture.
- Experience working alongside a new homes sales team would be an advantage.

This is an office-based role at our Maroochydore HQ, so you will need to be able to work from the office during the required hours.

Additional Information

- Location: Maroochydore HQ with on-site parking
- Hours: Monday–Thursday 7:30am–4:30pm (45-minute lunch); Friday 7:30am–12:30pm
- Salary: Negotiable based on experience and discussed during the interview.
