Urgent Clinical or experienced community pharmacist (3+ years) needed who is open to work in a Corrections Centre. Location in Alice Springs area to start as soon as possible for 8 weeks or longer.

It is largely a non-dispensing role involving clinical checks of scripts and ordering, liaising with nursing and medical staff, speaking with prisoner clients, and distributing client medications weekly by going to the cell blocks to give prisoner clients their medications. Co-ordinating medication distribution, liaising with health professionals, and counselling clients when needed.

Dates & Times:

Thursday 1st Oct / ASAP - Friday 15th January or longer
* Monday- Wednesday 8:00am - 3.30pm
* Thursday 6:30am - 5:00pm
* Friday 8:00am - 12:00m
*** ( 30 mins break ) - 36.75 hours per week - Rosters to be confirmed
It is a Monday to Friday role with no work on weekends or public holidays.





Remuneration

Weekday $70.85 - $99.36/hr + Super, depending on Experience
Travel Flights reimbursed to $1000 from any state
Accommodation provided
Car provided to drive out to ASCC

Co-ordinate and provide a protected clinical pharmacy service in accordance with national standards, relevant legislation, regulations, local policies, guidelines and Codes of Practice.

Must have a police check working with Children document
