Exciting Oil and Gas Project, Miles QLD

Dawsons Engineering is seeking experienced Mechanical Tradespersons and Mechanical Trade Assistants for an upcoming construction project. In partnership with Altrad, the project is at Arrow Energy's Girrahween Compressor Station near Miles, QLD.

This is an opportunity to secure ongoing, high-hours work with immediate mobilization options.

On offer

- Roster of 14 days on, 7 days off with 11-hour shifts.
- Immediate and ongoing start dates available.
- Full camp accommodation and meals provided.
- Competitive weekly pay processed Wednesday to Tuesday, with funds typically cleared Thursday evening for major banks and Friday morning for smaller banks.

Scope of work

- Mechanical installation of critical site infrastructure including compressor packages, pumps and motors,



gas metering skids and flare systems, filter packages and piping systems, and associated mechanical equipment.

Requirements

- Relevant Mechanical Trade Qualification or solid proven mechanical and operator experience.
- Strong safety mindset and a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn; training provided for candidates without prior oil and gas experience.

Highly regarded but not essential

- Flange management training.
- Pump and motor alignment experience.
- Prior experience with compressors.
- Previous oil and gas industry experience.
