Strike Force Services is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to join our growing team based in Rutherford. Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, this is an exciting opportunity for a hands‑on supervisor who enjoys mentoring others while contributing to the strategic success of the business.

We're seeking a people‑first leader with accounting experience. This role is less about being a technical accounting specialist and more about leading a team, creating efficiencies, and ensuring the finance function operates effectively.

n

You will bring experience across management accounting, payroll and accounts functions, along with proven supervisory or management experience. Candidates with strong commercial business experience and a track record of developing teams are encouraged to apply.

What You'll Be Doing n

As Accounting Supervisor, you will lead a small finance team and play a key role in supporting business performance across multiple service divisions.

Your responsibilities will include:

n

- Leading the monthly management reporting process, including P&L; and balance sheet reporting
n
- Driving month‑end and year‑end close activities and ensuring reporting deadlines are met
n
- Preparing financial analysis, forecasts, budgets and performance insights for business leaders
n
- Partnering with operational managers to support commercial decision‑making
n
- Overseeing payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
n
- Managing balance sheet reconciliations, financial controls and reporting accuracy
n
- Coaching,



mentoring and developing finance team members
n
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and reporting capability
n
- Supporting the CCO with board reporting, budgeting and strategic financial initiatives
n
- Liaising with external accountants, auditors and key stakeholders
n

What We're Looking For n

We're looking for a people‑focused leader who can balance operational finance responsibilities with continuous improvement and commercial insight.

You will bring:

n

- Experience in accounting, finance or management accounting roles
n
- Previous experience leading, coaching or supervising team members
n
- Strong management accounting and financial reporting experience
n
- Exposure to payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
n
- Experience preparing budgets, forecasts and financial analysis
n
- A track record of improving systems, processes and efficiencies
n
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business
n
- Experience in a commercial business environment (highly regarded)
n
- CPA or CA qualification, or progress towards qualification, is welcomed but not essential
n
