Solid Ground Landscapin g is a specialist landscaping and sports turf company based in Dura l, with a growing portfolio of commercial, education, sporting and private landscape sites throughout the Sydney Basin.

We are looking for an experienced, motivated and personable Landscape Construction Estimator & Business Development Manager to join our growing team.

This is a varied, client-facing role for someone who enjoys more than simply sitting behind a desk. You will work directly with existing and prospective clients, walk sites, understand their needs, identify opportunities, develop landscape solutions, prepare accurate estimates and present professional proposals that turn ideas into successful projects.

About the Role

As our Landscape Construction Estimator & Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and developing landscape construction opportunities from the initial client conversation through to proposal, approval and delivery.

You will work closely with clients to understand what they are trying to achieve, provide practical ideas and solutions, develop scopes of work, prepare accurate cost estimates and deliver qualified proposals.

The role will include:

- Meeting with existing and prospective clients and conducting site inspections.
- Identifying opportunities for landscape improvements, upgrades and new construction works.
- Working with clients to understand their needs, budgets and desired outcomes.
- Developing practical landscape concepts, scopes and solutions.
- Preparing accurate estimates, quotations and project budgets.
- Preparing professional proposals, tender submissions and supporting documentation.




- Presenting proposals and quotations to clients and guiding them through the proposed works.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
- Developing new business opportunities and introducing new clients to Solid Ground Landscaping.
- Following up proposals and managing the process from initial enquiry through to securing the work.
- Reviewing projects while works are underway to ensure the scope, client expectations and proposed outcomes are being delivered.
- Working closely with our operations and construction teams to ensure a smooth transition from estimating to project delivery.
- Identifying opportunities for additional works and ongoing landscape improvements.
- Contributing to the continued growth and development of the business.

The Person We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who is confident dealing with clients and has the technical understanding to turn a conversation and a site inspection into a well-scoped, accurately priced landscape project.

Our successful candiate must have a White card, Working With Childrens number and current Police check.
