If you want to work on critical infrastructure that genuinely cannot go down, this is where you'll find it. This role puts you on the ground in a data centre workplace, keeping mechanical, electrical and fire systems running and stepping in when something needs fixing fast. You'll be part of an operations team that takes real pride in the facilities they run and the standard they hold themselves to.

What you'll be doing

- Supervising and coordinating preventative maintenance across mechanical, electrical and fire equipment,
- Managing critical infrastructure to guarantee continuity of services with no disruption to operations,
- Using electronic monitoring systems to track site conditions, respond to alerts and alarms, and review generator reports,
- Acting as the primary technical troubleshooter for critical services issues,
- Conducting daily site reviews and regular testing of technical services infrastructure,
- Responding to service requests and emergency faults, repairing systems directly or with supplier and contractor support,




- Communicating risks and estimated repair timelines to internal teams,
- Logging completed maintenance reports into the CMMS and following up on any issues identified,
- Enforcing safe work practices in line with company policy and regulated standards,
- Providing leadership and mentoring to junior staff

What you'll bring

- A trade background in electrical or HVAC, or proven critical facilities experience,
- Data centre exposure is a plus but not essential,
- Comfort with working a rotational 24/7 shift roster and being available for on-call remote support,
- Experience operating Building Management Systems (BMS) or Energy Management Systems (EMS),
- Familiarity with a CMMS for logging and tracking maintenance work,
- A First Aid qualification, including a solid understanding of electrical first aid,
- Australian citizenship with the ability to obtain an NV1 Security Clearance,
- or NZ citizenship/PR with the ability to obtain an NZ Security Clearance
