The Public Trustee of Queensland – Brisbane QLD

You will play a critical role in helping vulnerable Queenslanders access the government benefits and supports they are entitled to. As the organisation's subject matter expert, you'll work closely with Services Australia, the Department of Veterans' Affairs and internal stakeholders to provide specialist guidance, build organisational capability and drive continuous improvement through training, policy development and service enhancement initiatives.

- Build strategic partnerships: Work closely with Services Australia, the Department of Veterans' Affairs, external service providers and internal stakeholders to deliver positive customer outcomes.

About you

You are a knowledgeable and proactive qualified who can provide expert advice on government benefits and aged care matters, solving problems and providing practical advice that supports informed decision-making.



You have the ability to build strong relationships, influence stakeholders and translate technical information into clear, actionable guidance.

To excel in this role, the following attributes will be your keys to success:

- Demonstrated expertise in government benefits administered by Services Australia and the Department of Veterans' Affairs, including associated legislation, products, services and processes.
- Ability to interpret complex legislation and provide accurate, practical advice and recommendations to a diverse range of stakeholders, including senior leaders.
- Proven experience developing, implementing and improving systems, policies, procedures and knowledge resources that enhance service delivery outcomes.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to establish and maintain productive relationships across government agencies, service providers and internal clients.
- Excellent communication, facilitation and training skills, with the ability to build capability and influence outcomes across a geographically dispersed workforce.
