Aged Care General Practitioner Brisbane

We are working with a busy aged care provider with nursing home locations across Brisbane, Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast.

If you want to focus on patient continuity and are looking for a change from working in a busy clinic this opportunity gives you the flexibility to build a permanent role around your lifestyle.

You can start working 1–2 days a week and increase your days as you settle in and build up your patient base. Patients are available immediately; you will have a patient list when you start, build up your patient base and your hours on your terms.

The Stuff You Would Like to Know

- Locations: Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast.
- 70% + 100% Aged Care incentives ($2000 to $2500 per day)
- Hours: Flexible, you can work 1–2 days per week right through to full-time
- Start: ASAP.
- Remuneration: Negotiated with the nursing home, commensurate to the number of days working, patient load, and previous experience.
- Setting: Residential aged care
- Support:



Dedicated organisational nursing support, including care-plan support. As well as full-time administrative support.

The providers have regular in-house training available for all employees to build your experience and knowledge in aged care.

Role Requirements

- Specialist Registration with AHPRA
- Robust communication skills.
- Previous aged-care experience preferred, but not essential.
- Second-language skills can be useful depending on the nursing home.
