Male Disability Support Workers – Challenging Behaviours
Monday 9.30am to 4 pm Swimming.
Daily Afternoon Shifts :4pm to 7.30pm (3 hours)
Seeking confident, physically capable DSWs for home support afternoons and community access Mondays.
- Client may punch or kick if approached too closely; established safety protocols and routines significantly reduce risk.
- Personal care includes showering and toileting, with appropriate training and safety procedures provided.
- Best suited to calm, observant workers who can follow instructions and maintain protected boundaries.
- Once confident, opportunities may be available at separate day centre, including free 1-hour trial sessions at evening shifts.
DSWs who follow the routine will find the client manageable. currently 1:1 support..
Pay: $45.00 – $48.00 per hour
