KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Develop and maintain cloud and AI architecture standards, roadmaps, and governance frameworks.
- Design secure, resilient, scalable, and cost-effective cloud and AI solutions.
- Lead cloud adoption, application modernisation, and AI enablement initiatives.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and provide strategic recommendations.
- Establish architecture patterns, reference designs, and implementation standards.

Solution Design and Modernisation

- Design cloud-native, AI-enabled, and integrated business solutions.
- Develop integration strategies across enterprise applications, data platforms, and APIs.
- Provide architectural guidance and technical leadership to project and delivery teams.
- Promote DevSecOps, Infrastructure as Code, automation, and API-first practices.

Platform and Technology Leadership

- Provide architecture leadership across Azure, AWS, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, Copilot, and related services.
- Enable secure integration between enterprise data sources, cloud platforms, and AI solutions.
- Support API Management and enterprise integration capabilities.

Security, Risk and Governance

- Ensure solutions comply with cyber security, privacy, information management, and regulatory requirements.
- Embed security-by-design principles into all solution architectures.
- Collaborate with security and risk teams to manage technology risks and architecture assurance activities.
- Ensure identity, access management, monitoring, resilience, and operational requirements are incorporated into solution designs.

Data and Information Architecture

- Design solutions that support secure, effective use of enterprise data and information assets.
- Support data integration, analytics, business intelligence, and AI initiatives.
- Ensure data governance, quality,



and lifecycle requirements are addressed.

Operational Excellence

- Promote reliability, performance, supportability, and cost optimisation across cloud and AI services.
- Establish monitoring, reporting, and operational governance practices.
- Drive continual service improvement and technology lifecycle management.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

- Demonstrated experience designing and delivering enterprise cloud solutions.
- Robust experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, and cloud-native services.
- Experience designing or implementing AI, automation, analytics, or data-driven solutions.
- Proven expertise in solution architecture, systems integration, and application modernisation.
- Experience delivering complex initiatives within large or highly regulated environments.
- Strong stakeholder, vendor, and project engagement skills.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

- Azure and AWS architecture.
- Cloud-native solution design.
- Networking, identity, security, and governance.
- AI platforms, Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI, and Microsoft Copilot.
- Application integration and API Management.
- Infrastructure as Code, automation, DevSecOps, and CI/CD.

- Business continuity and disaster recovery.
