The role

We're hiring someone to embed AI deeper across our whole business. You'll sit between our teams and the technology: finding the workflows worth automating, proving the case, building the agent, shipping it safely, and teaching the team to use it.

You'll report to the CTO and work with every division - Sales and Marketing, Product and Development, Customer Success and Support, and Operations, HR and Finance. Your focus is how we run WorkflowMAX as a business, rather than the WorkflowMAX product itself.

This is a build-the-function role. You'll start as an individual contributor, helping to shape the strategy and approach, and as the work scales, you'll grow into leading an execution team based in our Philippines office.

What you'll do

- Shape WorkflowMAX's internal AI strategy with the CTO and the leadership team - where we invest, what we adopt, what we hold back on - and own the roadmap that comes out of it.
- Work with team leads across the business to map their workflows and find where AI or better data would save real time.
- Build the business case for each chance - hours saved, cost avoided, risk - and recommend what to build, buy or leave alone.
- Design, build and deploy agents in code (using Strands Agent SDK on AWS), including the guardrails, permissions, logging and monitoring that let them run safely in an ISO 27001 and SOC 2 environment.
- Work with our data capability to make sure our leaders have the dashboards and trusted data behind their decisions.
- Take ownership of our AI literacy program, to help further lift the AI capability across every team member.
- Measure what you've delivered and report it - including where the forecast was wrong.

What we're looking for

You're a hybrid: part consultant, part engineer. You can sit with a team, understand why a process exists before automating it, and then open a terminal and ship the thing yourself.





- 3+ years in a role that combined technical delivery with business stakeholder work - solutions engineering, applied AI or automation, technical consulting, or business-facing data engineering.
- You can design solutions - take a business problem, understand the process behind it, and map out how an agent, workflow or data solution would fix it.
- You can build a business case - quantify the ROI, weigh the risks, and make a recommendation someone would fund.
- You've built and shipped LLM-based agents or automations in code. Python preferred. If you've used Strands Agents or a comparable framework, great; if not, you'll pick it up quick.
- Experience building and deploying LLM applications on AWS Bedrock, including IAM permission scoping and CloudWatch monitoring for observability and cost control.
- Experience with event-driven integration on AWS - EventBridge, API Gateway and Lambda - to connect external platforms and trigger agents.
- You’ve trained or coached non-technical teams onto new tools, and they actually adopted them.
- You’re comfortable working inside a certified environment (we’re ISO 27001 / SOC 2), and we’ll bring you up to speed on what that means for data handling, access control and auditability day to day.
- Clear communicator, in writing and in the room.

Nice to have

Experience using Bedrock AgentCore, exposure to BI tooling such as Metabase, experience building or querying an AWS data lake (S3, Glue, Athena) or developing ETL/ELT pipelines,



a B2B SaaS or professional services background, and experience leading a small or distributed team.

What success looks like

Twelve months in, our people are saving at least five hours a week on average because of what you've built, agents are running across the business as normal practice.
