CHILKO AIR is a growing HVAC business based in South Nowra, servicing the Shoalhaven, and we’re looking for an experienced Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Mechanic to join our team.

The role The position is primarily installation focused, including:

- Residential split-system installations and replacements
- Residential ducted installations and replacements
- Ductwork, zoning and control systems
- Commissioning and completing installations




- Residential and light-commercial servicing when required

We work with quality brands including Toshiba, Panasonic and Mitsubishi Electric. Jobs are properly scoped, materials are organised and communication from the office is clear, so you can focus on getting the job done.

What we’re looking for

We’re after someone who enjoys a productive day and takes ownership of their work.

Someone who can think ahead, keep an installation moving and work efficiently without compromising the quality of the finished job.

You should take pride in your workmanship, presentation, tools, vehicle and the way you leave a customer’s home.

We expect a high standard, but we’ll also give you the support, equipment and organisation needed to achieve it.

What you’ll need

- Cert III in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
- Minimum 2 years post-trade experience
- Strong experience with split and ducted installations
- Comfortable working independently or alongside the team
- Valuable communication and customer service
- Pride in your workmanship and presentation
- Full Australian driver’s licence and working rights
