We've been supporting people whose lives are impacted by alcohol and other drugs for over 50 years. We also work alongside people experiencing mental health and gambling concerns, and those transitioning from correctional centres.

We're seeking a compassionate and reliable AOD Support Worker to join our team in Chambers Flat, providing support across both Logan House Rehabilitation and Logan Family Recovery.

Located on the same site, these services support adults, families and children affected by alcohol and other drug challenges. In this role, you'll help create a safe, structured and supportive environment while working across both programs to assist residents and families on their recovery journey.

This permanent part-time position is worked 3:00pm to 8:00pm Monday to Friday (25 hours per week), with a strong focus on client engagement, wellbeing, evening routines and program support.

About the Role

As an AOD Support Worker, you'll play an important role in supporting clients, residents and families throughout their treatment and recovery journey. You will:

- Support and monitor structured afternoon and evening program activities.
- Assist with medication supervision where required.




- Facilitate or support wellbeing and recovery-focused activities.
- Provide emotional support, encouragement and practical assistance.
- Maintain accurate client notes, records and handovers.
- Build positive and professional relationships with residents, families and children.
- Help create a secure, welcoming and recovery-focused environment.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team across both residential programs.

This is a meaningful role where you'll see firsthand the progress people and families make as they work towards recovery and positive change while being supported by a compassionate and committed team.

Essential Requirements

- Certificate IV in Community Services, Alcohol and Other Drugs,



Mental Health, or a related discipline.
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
- Current Australian Driver Licence.
- Current National Police Check.
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate, or willingness to obtain.
