We're seeking an experienced Senior Radiographer ready to take the next step into an Area Chief position, leading a talented team across a network of 4 clinics that deliver truly comprehensive imaging services to the region.

As Area Chief, you'll provide hands-on professional and operational leadership across our Launceston clinics, across a full breadth of modalities, including MRI, CT, Cath Lab, Nuclear Medicine/PET, Theatre, Mammography, BMD, General X-ray, Ultrasound and Screening - giving you genuine scope to shape service delivery and grow your leadership career.

Reporting to the Regional Manager, who has been a part of the area's leadership team for 10 years, you'll have the chance to bring your clinical expertise and leadership skills to a role with real impact, while developing into a robust leader within a multi-national company.

Chief, you will provide strong professional and operational leadership across our Launceston clinics, including Jimmy's Complex, St Luke's Hospital, St Vincent's Hospital and our satellite site at St Helens District Hospital.

Our services are comprehensive, providing exposure across MRI, CT, Cath Lab, Nuclear Medicine/PET, Theatre, Mammography, BMD, General X-ray, Ultrasound and Screening. Working closely with our teams, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, efficient, professional and patient-focused services, while supporting strong clinical and operational outcomes across the region.

Key accountabilities include

- Working collaboratively with relevant internal stakeholders to achieve strong patient care outcomes and quality, cost and productivity targets. and productivity targets.
- Providing direction, supervision, support and recognition of staff and promote collaboration, cooperation and teamwork through effective leadership and management.
- Displaying a strong commitment to developing others through implementing effective performance management and development processes.
- Understanding the financial and commercial aspects of the business and focus on diligently managing clinic costs to achieve or exceed budget targets.
- Ensuring outstanding service delivery and provide supervision of the day-to-day management of the Radiography Services through technical staff rostering and modality management and prioritisation.
- Performing routine and specialised medical imaging procedures to the highest professional standards as required.
- Establishing and maintaining strong, cooperative relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

Key selection requirements:

- Demonstrated leadership capability with the ability to coach, mentor and support staff




- Proven ability to perform high-quality medical imaging examinations to accepted industry standards
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with radiologists, patients, staff and stakeholders
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
