Renderlook is a specialist architectural moulding company dedicated to designing, manufacturing, and supplying high-quality architectural mouldings and decorative building elements. Our products include cornices, mouldings, columns, decorative profiles, and other architectural features for residential and commercial projects.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented full time Architectural Drafter to join our team and assist in the preparation of technical drawings, detailed plans, and production documentation for our architectural moulding products.

About the role The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate architectural and technical drawings, interpreting architectural plans, developing moulding profiles, and coordinating with our production team to ensure designs meet project specifications and manufacturing requirements.

This role requires a strong understanding of architectural detailing, drafting software, and the practical application of technical drawings in a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities include

· Prepare detailed architectural drawings, shop drawings, and technical plans for architectural mouldings and decorative elements.

· Interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

· Develop and detail moulding profiles, sections, elevations, and construction details.

· Produce CAD drawings and 3D models using relevant drafting software.

· Prepare technical drawings for manufacturing, fabrication, and installation.





· Verify dimensions, measurements, and specifications to ensure accuracy.

· Coordinate with architects, builders, designers, project managers, and production staff.

· Assist in the development and modification of custom moulding designs.

· Ensure drawings comply with relevant Australian Standards, building requirements, and company specifications.

· Review drawings and make revisions based on client feedback and project changes.

· Maintain accurate drawing records and technical documentation.

· Provide technical support to the manufacturing and installation teams.

Skills and qualifications

· At least a Diploma or relevant qualification in Architectural Drafting, Building Design, or a related field.

· At least 1 year of relevant experience

· Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or other relevant CAD software.

· Experience with 3D modelling software such as Revit or SketchUp is desirable.

· Ability to interpret architectural plans, construction drawings, and technical specifications.

· Solid understanding of architectural detailing, moulding profiles, and manufacturing processes.

· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

· Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Pay: $79,500.00 per year
