Davidson is partnering with Holcim Australia to recruit an Area Manager for their North Queensland business (ideally located in Townsville). A leader in concrete products Holcim have operations across Australia, and internationally, with a robust customer base and solid pipeline of future construction projects.

About the Role

Due to internal movements, an opportunity now exists for an experienced Area Manager to join the North Queensland team and lead Holcim to continued success in the area.

Ideally located in Townsville, the Area Manager is accountable for the operational, commercial and financial performance of multiple sites in North Queensland, customer accounts and operational teams. The role has full accountability for profit and loss performance and operational excellence. The role will lead site-based teams to deliver safe, efficient and customer focused outcomes while executing regional business objectives and driving sustainable growth.

About You To be considered for this genuine career opportunity, it is expected you will possess:

· Proven team leadership experience, ideally gained in the concrete, building materials, industrial or construction industry, in a multi-site environment.





· Strong focus on and experience in building, maintaining and improving exceptional safety culture.

· Previous success in managing full profit and loss performance for a region.

· Exceptional interpersonal skills allowing the development and management of positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, clients and other partners.

· A hands-on, can-do attitude, willingness to be involved in all aspects of the business, and ability to develop and maintain exceptional relationships with a diverse range of clients

· Engineering, business or other relevant qualifications
