We’re looking for an experienced Area Manager to lead those teams and venues – bringing strong multi-site leadership, commercial thinking and a genuine love of hospitality.

ABOUT MÖRK

Mörk began in Melbourne with a simple idea – to create a more considered hot chocolate experience.

What started with hot chocolate has grown into something much bigger. Today, we make our chocolate locally, from bean to bar, and bring it to life through our bakery, retail and hospitality venues across Melbourne.

We care about quality at every step – from what we make to the spaces we create and the experience our customers have with Mörk.

THE ROLE

No two Mörk venues are quite the same – and that’s part of what makes this role interesting.

You’ll work across our established venue group, getting to know what makes each location tick while bringing strong leadership and a clear view across the whole.

A big part of your role will be:

- Coaching and developing Venue Managers, Supervisors and emerging leaders
- Keeping the customer experience front and centre, with strong standards across service, presentation and operations
- Working with our venue leaders to grow sales, strengthen performance and spot opportunities within each location
- Building confident teams with genuine knowledge of our products and how to share them with customers
- Spending time on the floor with our teams – observing,



coaching and understanding what each venue needs
- Bringing new products, promotions and visual merchandising to life across our venues
- Keeping an eye on labour and staffing across the group

You’ll have oversight across the group rather than being based within one venue – giving our leaders the support and direction to run their venues well, while keeping sight of the bigger picture across Mörk.

ABOUT YOU

You’ve genuinely led across multiple venues or stores before, and you enjoy everything that comes with that – different teams, different customers and different opportunities.

You know how to develop strong leaders and bring the commercial and people sides of a venue together. You’re comfortable with the numbers, but you also know that not everything worth noticing shows up on a report.

You like being in the venues. Talking with teams. Seeing the customer experience for yourself. Noticing the small things that can make a positive venue even better.

You care about quality, product and presentation, and you’ll take the time to understand what makes Mörk, Mörk.

THE DETAILS

Our venues operate seven days a week, so flexibility across the trading week will be important.
