Unite Resourcing is seeking an experienced Asphalt Foreman to join a well-established asphalt crew based out of Hazelmere, WA.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Foreman looking for ongoing local work, competitive rates and the prospect to progress into a permanent position.

Pay Rates(Based on Experience)

- Level 5.1: $52.89/hr - Casual Ordinary Rate
- Level 5.2: $54.67/hr - Casual Ordinary Rate
- Overtime, nightshift, weekend and applicable penalty rates

The Role

As the Asphalt Foreman, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating an asphalt crew across a variety of road and pavement works.

Your responsibilities will include

- Supervising and managing asphalt crews on site
- Coordinating daily asphalt works and ensuring productivity targets are met
- Leading by example and maintaining a strong safety culture
- Training, mentoring and supporting new and existing team members
- Coordinating asphalt mobile plant and personnel
- Ensuring works are completed safely and to the required quality standards
- Conducting pre-starts and communicating daily work requirements
- Working closely with supervisors, project teams and other site personnel
- Maintaining professional communication across the team
- Supporting overtime, nightshift and weekend works when required

What We're Looking For:
- Previous Asphalt Foreman experience
- Strong hands-on asphalt industry experience




- Experience managing and leading an asphalt crew
- Asphalt mobile plant experience
- HR Truck Licence - minimum requirement
- Construction White Card
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality
- Ability to train and mentor new team members
- Confident and professional communication skills
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends and nightshift
- Ability to work away from home when required
