THE ROLE

The Senior Project Officer, The Orange Door Program Development will lead the secretariat function for the Statewide Partnership Group as well as support the implementation of the work packages for the Governance and Accountability review . The role requires a strong, effective, and highly accountable leadership to build and maintain constructive stakeholder relationships to develop and deliver evidence-informed practice, and to represent The Orange Door in relevant forums. The role will lead on the development and implementation of key statewide projects and their deliverables for The Orange Door Operations, as well as supporting and progressing other areas of work in The Orange Door Program Development projects and statewide governace.

Accountabilities Include

- Lead projects and secretariat function for the Statewide Partnership Group




- Strategically design and develop the delivery of departmental objectives that impact significant localised service delivery and meet statewide departmental and government objectives and community expectations.
- Maintain an understanding of issues impacting the department's clients and investigate and lead critical projects that develop and review policies, skilled standards and operating practices that enhance service delivery, budget effectiveness, efficiency and improved client outcomes.

Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa. Work eligibility will be checked as part of the recruitment process. Preferred candidates will be required to complete pre-employment screening, including a national police check and misconduct screening.
