About the Opportunity

We're partnering with a highly regarded international law firm to recruit an experienced Events Manager to join its national Events team.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing - Events & Sponsorships , this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced events professional to take ownership of a diverse and high-profile portfolio within a top-tier professional services setting.

From client breakfasts and cocktail functions to intimate dinners, webinars, firm-wide celebrations and larger strategic events , no two projects will look the same. You'll manage multiple events at different stages of planning, with a particular focus on Melbourne-based events while also having the opportunity to contribute to national initiatives.





Events are an significant part of the firm's client and business development strategy, so this is a role where your work will have genuine visibility and impact.

What You'll Be Doing

- Managing events from concept through to delivery across a varied corporate events portfolio
- Coordinating multiple events simultaneously, ensuring timelines, budgets, logistics and suppliers are all managed effectively
- Working closely with senior internal stakeholders, clients and external suppliers
- Delivering Melbourne-based events and supporting selected national initiatives
- Managing and developing one direct report
- Preparing event plans, run sheets, budgets and post-event reporting
- Identifying opportunities to continually improve the event experience and ways of working
- Working collaboratively with the broader Business Development & Marketing team
