Electrician – Government & Power Infrastructure
$45–$51 per hour + Energy Queensland Uplift + Super + Vehicle + Overtime
Full-Time Permanent | Service & Field-Based Role | North Brisbane to Gold Coast

Are you an experienced Electrician looking for a long-term chance working on major electrical infrastructure projects?
We are currently seeking a qualified Electrician to join a growing team delivering electrical infrastructure works for government bodies and power authorities across South East Queensland.

This is a service-based role covering North Brisbane through to the Gold Coast, providing variety across different client and project sites. Working as part of a skilled service and field team, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, testing and maintenance of electrical infrastructure across a range of projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

- As an Electrician you will be responsible for installation and servicing of electrical infrastructure
- The Electrician will be carrying out electrical testing, fault finding and troubleshooting
- The Electrician will be reading and interpreting electrical drawings, project specifications and documentation
- As the Electrician you'll be working to project specifications,



safety requirements and relevant standards
- This Electrician will be carrying out inspections, testing and commissioning
- The Electrician will be required to attend client and project sites from North Brisbane through to the Gold Coast
- Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults
- Working closely with project managers, engineers and other trades
- Completing service reports and project documentation
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard

About You

- Current Queensland Electrical Licence – Essential
- Previous experience as a qualified Electrician
- Strong electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and project specifications
- Experience with installation, testing and commissioning
- Strong understanding of electrical safety and compliance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full Australian working rights
- Current driver's licence

Experience working on government, utilities, power, infrastructure or large-scale electrical projects will be highly regarded
