You will report to the Group IT Manager, and be part of a small IT team responsible for maintaining, supporting and securing the organisation's IT infrastructure, systems and end-user technology.

This is a varied, hands-on position suited to an experienced IT all-rounder who enjoys troubleshooting, working across multiple technologies and providing excellent service to internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

- Maintain and support IT infrastructure, ensuring systems remain operational, secure and reliable.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network and infrastructure issues.
- Support Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams Phone/Voice, Active Directory, Group Policy and Microsoft Azure.
- Maintain and troubleshoot Cisco networking infrastructure.
- Perform daily operational checks, including security, backups, replication, network health and scheduled jobs.
- Install, configure and relocate end-user equipment.
- Support core business applications and operating systems.
- Assist with IT equipment and software procurement.
- Provide technical advice, troubleshooting assistance and training to staff.
- Work closely with the Group IT Manager and internal stakeholders to prioritise and resolve IT issues.

You will bring at least 5 years' experience in IT support or infrastructure , with a broad technical skill set and the ability to work independently within a small team.

Essential skills and experience

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across hardware, software and infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Teams Phone/Voice.
- Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy and Microsoft Azure.
- Working knowledge of Cisco networking.
- Experience with system administration, backups, security and infrastructure monitoring.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- A proactive, customer-focused approach to supporting users across different departments.

Desirable

- Relevant IT degree or tertiary qualification.
- Experience working with AI products or technologies.

About you: You're a practical, solutions-focused IT professional who enjoys variety and takes ownership of technical issues through to resolution.
You'll be comfortable working with everyone from end users to senior management, explaining technical issues clearly and balancing day-to-day support with broader infrastructure responsibilities.
You don't need to be a specialist in every technology, but you should have the technical breadth, initiative and problem-solving ability to support a diverse IT environment.
