An opportunity currently exists for Shift Production Engineers, based at various sites across Australia(Picton, Tennyson, Kensington, Ballarat, Mile End, North Fremantle, Tamworth) on a full-time permanentbasis. The primary purpose of this role is to plan, direct and coordinate the continued performance andmaintenance of the Mill ensuring it is completed to Company and Customer expectations. The primary

Key accountabilities include:

- Monitor, operate and maintain milling equipment to ensure optimal performance and product quality in compliance with established standards.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production and continuous improvement goals.
- Conduct routine maintenance, repair equipment faults, install machinery and complete fabrication tasks.
- Monitor and manage grist quality and blend formulation to ensure consistent, high-quality product output.
- Follow production plans and monitor throughput to meet production targets efficiently while optimising resource use.
- Forecast the production of by-products and generate reports to assist with resource planning.
- Conduct regular testing of wheat,



maize and flour to meet company and customer quality standards.
- Complete all Critical Control Point (CCP) and quality checks, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Follow all Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) procedures.
- Identify and report safety issues within the mill and broader workplace to maintain a safe working environment.
- Ensure all milling operations comply with industry regulations and company policies.
- Work closely with other departments, including Quality Control, Maintenance and Operations teams, to achieve shared goals.
- Accurately complete and maintain all required documentation, including production logs and quality reports.

The successful applicant will possess:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
- Minimum of 2 years’ proven experience in a similar role.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to maintaining a secure, efficient and productive work environment.
- Hands-on experience working with various types of equipment.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting on production activities
