About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Public Relations and External Communications Lead to join our Brand & Growth team. This strategic role will lead Canon's earned influence strategy, building external authority, relevance and advocacy across our imaging business.

This role goes beyond traditional public relations.



You will identify compelling stories, customer proof points and influential voices that strengthen Canon's reputation and commercial growth objectives. Working across Product, Sales, Marketing, customers, creators, partners and industry stakeholders, you'll create meaningful external influence that drives consideration, preference and customer lifetime value.

Role Scope

- Developing and executing Canon's earned influence and external communications strategy
- Building and managing a robust network of media, creators, advocates, customers and industry influencers
- Leading PR plans for major product launches and portfolio campaigns
- Identifying and developing customer stories, case studies, thought leadership and advocacy opportunities
- Extending the impact of marketing campaigns, sponsorships, partnerships and experiential activities through earned media opportunities
- Managing external PR agency and external partners to achieve measurable outcomes
