Rolleston Open Cut is a 16Mtpa thermal coal mine located in the southern Bowen Basin in Central Queensland. With a long life of mine and low operating costs, the mine has a bright outlook. Since 2005, we have grown to become one of the largest surface mines in Australia, whilst continuing to foster a culture underpinned by safety, achievement, flexibility and teamwork to improve the skills of each and every person on the mine site every day. Job Description About the Role n

Coordinating resources to deliver safe and effective production targets by optimising and implementing mine plans

n
- n

Providing strong and consistent leadership and direction to your teams and be able to clearly communicate and articulate expectations

n
- n

Promoting continuous improvement by challenging work practices and encouraging employee participation in new concepts.

- n

Developing and mentoring co-workers to get the best out of them

- n

Maintaining a high level of positive safety performance and workplace culture through teamwork, personal commitment, and application of company values

Providing technical guidance

- n

Liaise with key personnel and share ideas for overall improvement outcomes

Identify, assess and control workplace hazards

About you nn
- n

A minimum 7 years’ experience in the industry across multiple mining methods including Dragline, Drill and Blast and Truck & Shovel

n
- n

Contract management experience

n
- n

Strong interpersonal,



communication and leadership skills.

n
- n

Have an extremely high drive to learn and grow your skills to be the best version of yourself.

n
- n

Excellent safety mindset with the ability to positively influence the culture at Rolleston

n
- n

Driving consistent and fair accountability in line with Rolleston’s SHMS.

- n

Proven problem‑solving skills and the ability to thrive in a team environment

n
- n

Relevant experience with SAP or similar maintenance management systems.
