Job Description

Unpac, a climate-tech startup in Sydney, is seeking a Staff Backend Engineer to own the architecture and roadmap from the MVP to a long-term data hub. You will define the data model, data contracts, ingestion layer, and infrastructure patterns to onboard enterprise customers quickly and pass security reviews.

You will work with the Engineering Lead and ML pipeline team to scale the platform for US and EU regions, transitioning from serverless functions to a resilient service-oriented backend
