PRIMARY OBJECTIVE The Asset Officer provides administrative services to support closure of capital projects ensuring financial assurance, and reporting is efficient and prudent in accordance with process, policy, and procedure.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES The “WHAT” to be delivered
- Provide accurate, timely and comprehensive administrative support within the Asset Information team to support project completion in Water
Services.
- Maintain and update capital work in progress reports and liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure transparency across the business and
ownership of progress status e.g. fixed assets and project delivery management.
- Undertake analysis and participate in reviews to ensure financial transactions are in accordance with PWC process, policy, and procedures.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to support the creation and decommissioning of assets to support the timely closure of completed capital
projects.
- Analyse project transactions and support project managers and asset team members with allocation of costs to assets within Power and Water
asset and financial systems.
- Support internal stakeholders with the correct application of relevant frameworks and systems to ensure compliance and continuous
improvement.
- Carry out duties in accordance with Power and Water's safety, environmental and quality policy, safety principles, corporate values, and
strategies.
