About the Role:

As Assistant Development Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing and coordinating development projects from concept to completion. You will serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication throughout all stages of development.

This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, and an understanding of property development and planning process.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate activities across the property development lifecycle, including pre-acquisition, concept design, approvals, pre-sales and marketing, finance, construction and delivery.
- Monitor market conditions,



prepare feasibility studies and due diligence, and provide insights on industry trends, regulations and development opportunities.
- Initiate, coordinate and monitor the preparation of Concept Plans, Planning Proposals, Development Applications and other required approvals and entitlements.
- Prepare and maintain project plans, budgets and timelines, monitoring progress to ensure key milestones and deliverables are achieved.
- Support the Development Director with budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting, providing accurate and timely updates to senior management.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to develop and implement project marketing strategies aligned with development objectives.
- Identify and manage project risks, conduct inspections and quality assessments, and implement appropriate mitigation and contingency measures.
- Maintain sound corporate governance and project execution, while complying with Aqualand’s Construction Integrated Management System (IMS) and HSEQ policies and procedures.

About You:

- Tertiary qualifications in Business (Property), Property Economics, or similar (eg Architecture, Planning, Engineering, Construction Management) .
- 2 + years' Industry experience (property development, design practice or construction company within the medium to high density residential building sector).
- Knowledge of property development industry and DA process, understanding of the local real estate market.
- Robust interpersonal, communication, written and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Experienced in use of all Microsoft platforms.
