Infrastructure Canberra is seeking an experienced Assistant Director, Interface to play a key role in the successful delivery of major infrastructure projects. This position is responsible for managing complex interfaces across government agencies, delivery partners, utility providers, developers, contractors and project teams to ensure coordinated planning and seamless project delivery.

Working in a dynamic and collaborative environment, you will identify and manage project dependencies, risks, issues and opportunities, provide strategic advice to senior leaders, and facilitate solutions to complex cross-organisational challenges. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of interface management practices and help drive successful outcomes for projects that shape Canberra's future.

We're looking for someone who has:

- Experience in interface management, project coordination, infrastructure delivery or a related discipline.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex dependencies, risks, issues and competing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience providing advice to senior management.




- The ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.

Desirable

- Experience in major infrastructure delivery, particularly within the public sector.
- Tertiary qualifications in engineering, planning, public administration, communications or a related field.
- Familiarity with ACT Government stakeholder management systems.
