As an Assistant in Nursing with Right at Home, you will deliver high-quality, person-centered care within clients' homes, supporting their independence, comfort and wellbeing. These roles are essential to meeting increasing community demand and offer a meaningful prospect to build a rewarding career in in-home care.
Key responsibilities
- Providing personal care and assistance with daily living activities
- Supporting clients with mobility and basic clinical care as required
- Monitoring and reporting changes in health or wellbeing
- Delivering care with empathy, respect, and professionalism
- Maintain accurate documentation and following care plans
- Working collaboratively with care partners and clinical team
About you
- Certificate III in one of the following (or equivalent): Aged Care, Disability Individual Support,
Home and Community Care OR current enrolment in second or third year of a Bachelor of Nursing at an accredited university or higher education provider
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
- Previous aged care or in-home care experience (highly regarded)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Permanent residency in Australia or a work visa with no restrictions
