St Joseph's School, Boulder, is a Catholic school located in the town of Kalgoorlie-Boulder offering quality education catering to over 270 students from our three year old kindy program to year 6. Our school has a warm, intimate and friendly workplace where all students are supported, valued and challenged.

Kalgoorlie-Boulder is a historic mining town, with a population of almost 30,000 known for its gold mining & vibrant outback culture. We have the facilities of a large town but with a small community feeling.

Selection Criteria:

We are seeking a Catholic leader who has demonstrated recent leadership success in Catholic schools. Responsibility and working knowledge of the four pillars of QCE and experience in leading and supporting the principal in this delivery is essential. Leadership or Extended Leadership experience in another area/s of expertise i.e. Staff Development, EALD, EYL, Digital Technology, Social and Emotional Wellbeing, School Improvement is desired.

Have an excellent understanding of student development.

Possess the interpersonal and organisational skills to work collaboratively with others to improve student outcomes.

Work closely with the community including parish, parents, caregivers and various community groups and agencies to achieve positive outcomes.

Mentor and coach others to build team capacity amd enhance collaboration.

Demonstrate commitment to the ongoing development of self and others through participation in Professional Learning Communities and professional development.

Support the Principal to ensure accountability at all levels.

Qualifications Required:

A minimum 7 years of teaching experience.

Accreditation to Lead (or working towards).

Accreditation to teach Religious Education (or working towards)

An appropriate tertiary teaching qualification.

Current Teachers Registration with TRBWA.

Current Working With Children Check (WWWC)
