We are on the hunt for an Assistant Restaurant Manager in our Southport restaurant!

About Us

We are Zambrero. Australia's largest Mexican franchise offering healthy, fresh food while fighting world hunger. We are a quick-service restaurant that offers tasty burritos, bowls, nachos, and tacos filled with home-made guac and other goodies.

But we are not just a healthy quick-service restaurant! We also donate one meal to someone in need for every bowl or burrito bought at Zambrero through our Plate 4 Plate initiative.

What you’ll do

As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for setting the highest standard in all areas of the restaurant including the customer experience, the workplace culture, and the financial results.

A day as a restaurant manager includes things like:

- Managing your team, including hiring, training, performance reviews, rostering, and resolving any employee issues

- Leading your team to provide a excellent service experience

- Ensuring food is prepared, presented, and served to the highest standard.

- Being commercially brilliant and controlling profit through items such as cost of goods and labour

- Ordering stock from various suppliers





- Office administration duties such as paperwork, banking, cash handling, payroll

- Managing daily and weekly cleaning of the restaurant as required.

- Ensuring safety and security standards are recognised and upheld, and that employees are effectively trained in Workplace Health and Safety
