As Assistant Store

Manager, you'll lead from the front — selling, styling and coaching your team — while helping your Store Manager bring the Papinelle experience to life. For over 20 years we've been designing luxury sleepwear and loungewear from the world's softest natural fabrics — Mulberry silk, organic cotton and modal — and we're looking for a retail leader who can bring that story to every customer, every day.

Your Role

Sales & Customer Leadership

- Lead from the floor: actively selling, styling and coaching in real time
- Deliver a customer experience that reflects Papinelle's warmth, story and luxury positioning
- Support the Store Manager in driving sales, KPIs and overall store performance
- Build genuine, memorable relationships that turn customers into loyal Papinelle advocates

Team Leadership & Development

- Coach your team across product knowledge, styling, service and selling technique
- Support onboarding, training and the ongoing development of your people
- Take full ownership of the store and team when the Store Manager isn't on the floor
- Help build a positive, accountable, high-performing team culture

Operational Excellence

- Support stock management, visual merchandising and day-to-day store operations
- Take pride in presentation standards that reflect the quality of the product

- Commercially driven — you understand KPIs and sales targets, and know how to read the numbers and act on them
- Leads from the front — you sell, style and coach alongside your team, not from the sidelines
- A natural coach — you know how to develop people, building product knowledge, styling skill and confidence in others
