Associate Director, Infrastructure Assurance, Temporary full-time, Sydney

We are seeking an Associate Director, Infrastructure Assurance CL 1112.

This is a temporary role; February 2027.

This role is a Clerk Grade 11/12, with a base salary for this role starting at $149,739 - $173,174 plus superannuation, commensurate with experience.

About the Role

As the Associate Director, Infrastructure Assurance you will provide assurance to the project teams on the built infrastructure program and project investments through the application and administration of the Infrastructure Investor Assurance Framework (IIAF) and establish project and program monitoring and reporting to improve the NSW Government’s investment outcomes and confidence in project delivery.

Some of the key responsibilities for the role include:

- Manage the timely and accurate preparation of a range of regular and ad-hoc reports, identifying performance issues and risks, including senior executive infrastructure committees and Cabinet.
- Support and coordinate, assurance review activities including, forward review program of Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 projects, reviewer management and evaluation, closing out review of recommendations, and trends reporting.
- Contribute and lead the collaborative development of strategies, programs, policies, and procedures to determine and achieve enhanced project outcomes, including working with a range of agencies to maximise outcomes during implementation.
- Manage special projects and undertake the preparation of draft evaluation reports on business cases to strict quality and timelines.
- Build and maintain cooperative relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders facilitating data quality, smooth running of assurance activities,



the provision of expert advice and sharing of relevant information.

About You

You will have relevant qualifications or equivalent experience in infrastructure planning, development, procurement, or delivery, along with strong analytical and proactive problem-solving skills. You will be highly proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear reports and impactful presentations.
