Our client is a leading independent Australian law firm with a strong national presence and an established reputation in the Corporate space.

The Team The Corporate team advises Australian and international clients on complex transactions, with a strong focus on corporate and real estate matters.

The practice covers real estate M&A;, joint ventures, fund formations, REITs and asset acquisitions and disposals, with exposure to high-profile transactions and direct Partner access.

Senior lawyers are encouraged to develop client relationships, build their profile and mentor junior team members.

The Role An excellent opportunity exists for an Associate or Senior Associate to join their Corporate Real Estate practice in Sydney.

Working closely with leading Corporate Partners, you will:

- Act on sophisticated real estate transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, co-investments and fund-related matters.
- Take responsibility for preparing and negotiating key transaction documents, including SPAs, asset sale agreements and shareholder arrangements.
- Advise on regulatory and structuring considerations, including FIRB,



stamp duty and alternative investment structures.
- Work closely with major corporate and property clients throughout the transaction lifecycle.
- Coordinate multiple matters and deadlines while supporting and developing junior team members.
- Build trusted client relationships and contribute to the growth of the corporate real estate practice.

About you

Ideally you will have 4–8 years' post-admission experience within a well-regarded corporate practice.

Additionally, you will have:

- Strong experience in corporate transactions involving the real estate sector.
- A solid understanding of corporate real estate transaction structures and the broader property market.
- Excellent drafting and transaction management skills.
- Experience with M&A; documentation, joint ventures, co-investment structures and related corporate arrangements.
