Clinical Trial Manager - Cancer Care Foundation (CCF)

Cancer Care Foundation (CCF) was established in 2018 as a not-for-profit charity organisation dedicated to one clear purpose: creating the much-needed practical support for cancer patients to ease and improve their treatment journey so their energies are focused on getting well.

CCF manages clinical trials at multiple centres across Australia, with our Head Office located in Miranda, NSW. Due to the growth of our clinical trials business, CCF requires a Clinical Trial Team Lead at our Riverina Clinic who will play a key role in the leadership and delivery of oncology clinical trials. The Team Lead is a senior Clinical Trial Coordinator and the primary CCF representative of our Riverina site. You will be responsible for ensuring clinical trials are executed in strict accordance with study-specific protocols, ICH-GCP standards, regulatory requirements, and organisational guidelines, while providing day-to-day leadership, mentoring, and support to site-based clinical trial staff.

You will work closely with a diverse team of doctors, nurses, clinical trial coordinators, clinical trial assistants, clinical project managers, pharmacists, data managers, sponsor teams, and clinical research associates.

About You

To succeed in this role, you should meet the following criteria:

Australian work rights and Police Check are required for this position.

A minimum of 3 years' experience working in a clinical trials environment, ideally as a Clinical Trial Coordinator or Senior Clinical Trial Coordinator, with a strong understanding of clinical research and ICH-GCP.

Previous experience mentoring, training, leading,



or supervising clinical research staff is highly desirable.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders within a multidisciplinary environment.

Excellent planning, organisational, and time management skills, with a professional, reliable, and proactive approach to work.

Ability to adapt to changing work conditions and business needs to meet project deadlines, both autonomously and while supporting colleagues.

A high level of ownership and accountability for clinical trial delivery, with the initiative to resolve issues and drive operational improvements.

Demonstrated experience with ethics and governance processes, regulatory submissions, and study start-up activities.

Experience preparing for and participating in monitoring visits, audits, and inspections.

Experience with clinical assessment techniques (e.g. vital signs, ECG, venipuncture) and laboratory procedures (e.g. blood and urine processing, centrifugation, pipetting) is strongly preferred.

Strong computer skills, including experience with electronic case report forms, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

A tertiary qualification in medical, life sciences, nursing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
