About the Role

- Sourcing and purchasing materials, components, consumables and subcontract services
- Obtaining and comparing supplier quotes based on price, quality and lead times
- Raising purchase orders and following up outstanding deliveries
- Maintaining accurate supplier, pricing and purchasing records
- Working closely with workshop, stores, sales and management teams
- Building strong supplier relationships and resolving supply or delivery issues
- Identifying opportunities to reduce costs and improve purchasing processes

About You

- Previous purchasing or procurement experience
- Experience within engineering, manufacturing, mining support or an industrial setting
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- High attention to detail and commercial awareness
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Experience purchasing hydraulic components, steel, machined parts or engineering services will be highly regarded
