About the role

Fully qualified light vehicle mechanic specializing in 4WDs. Provide high level of vehicle maintenance and servicing as well as customer service. Service all vehicles and small trucks, complete preventative maintenance and any required mechanical repairs.

Key responsibilities

- Diagnose mechanical faults and repair of electronic engine management faults, which may include using scan tools

- Diagnose diesel engine (including common rail diesel) faults and make required repairs

- Complete engine and differential rebuilds and gearbox overhauls

- Perform safety certificates inspections on light vehicle and trailers

- Perform preventative maintenance in the workshop including cleaning, lubricating, oiling of machines, equipment and devices

- Ensure that all parts and labor is entered on job cards

- Direct and train lower-level employees as required





- Ensure all administrative duties are completed with a high level of accuracy

- Take reasonable care for yourself and others

- Read and adhere to all Policies & Procedures

About you

- Must be a fully qualified light vehicle mechanic

- Minimum of 4 years trade experience

- High level of attention to detail

- Organization and ability to maintain a clean workspace

- Must be an Australian resident
