About the role

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who loves being part of a busy bakery, enjoys working with people and has confidence to help keep the day running smoothly. We're looking for someone who can lead the team, not just work alongside them. This role would suit someone who is ready to take the next step in their career and wants to be part of a small, locally owned bakery.

Key responsibilities

- Leading and supporting the team throughout the day

- Helping organise and prioritise daily jobs

- Training and supporting newer team members

- Maintaining standards of customer service, presentation, cleaning and food safety

- Being point of contact when management aren't available

- Jumping in and helping wherever needed - no two days are exactly the same

About you

- Confident and comfortable leading a team

- Reliable, organised and responsible

- Friendly and approachable

- Someone who leads by example

- Experienced in a fast-paced hospitality bakery or food setting

- Passionate about providing great customer service and maintaining high standards

- Experienced in a previous supervisor or team leader role (essential)
