ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Barista you will contribute to our goal of creating a positive customer experience by providing excellent customer service and amazing coffee. The role is based at 6 Acland Street St Kilda, Melbourne. The role ispart - time with rosters up to 30 hours per week, from 7-3pm.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

- Fast peace whilst creating excellent customer experiences
- Making outstanding consistent coffee and able to make latte arts
- Taking orders at the counter (square)
- Managing the safety and hygiene of your work site and the food you are handling

ABOUT YOU You are someone who gets the job done and you enjoy working in a fast paced, customer focused food and beverage outlet delivering great customer service

You understand how this type of business operates and can quickly learn the ropes. You can also recognise how to improve your day to day performance to the benefit of customers and the business.

You are calm and confident under pressure and also know how to have fun and enjoy the work you do. You relate well to others and can work effectively in a team or independently.





To succeed in this role you will need the following skills and attributes:

- A minimum of 1 years’ experience in hospitality and cafe making in Australia or New Zealand
- Highly developed face to face customer service and communication skills
- Barista making consistently excellent coffee
- Excellent working knowledge of food handling & hygiene standards (this would be preferable including a current Food Safety Certificate)
- Experience in the use of POS, EFTPOS and cash handling
- Reliability and ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently
- A high standard of grooming and presentation as this is a front of house role
- Ability to work early mornings and weekends - this is a must

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $26.44 – $38.00 per hour
